Step-by-Step Guide
Sign up for a WAutoAI account at wautoai.online/signup. You'll get a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.
After signing up, log in to your dashboard at wautoai.online/dashboard
In the sidebar, click on 'WhatsApp' to open the WhatsApp connection page.
Click the 'Generate QR Code' button. A QR code will appear on screen.
Open WhatsApp on your phone. Tap the three dots (Android) or Settings (iOS), then 'Linked Devices', then 'Link a Device'.
Scan the QR code displayed on your WAutoAI dashboard using your phone's camera.
Wait a few seconds — the dashboard will show 'Connected' with your phone number once the pairing is successful.
Your AI agent is now live! Incoming WhatsApp messages will be automatically processed and replied to.
Troubleshooting
QR Code not appearing
If "Generate QR Code" stays stuck at "Generating...", the backend may have a stale session. Try clicking "Disconnect" first, then generate a new QR code. If the issue persists, contact support.
WhatsApp session keeps disconnecting
WhatsApp sessions can expire after server restarts. Simply scan the QR code again from your dashboard to reconnect. Your chat history and settings are preserved.
"Linked Devices" option not showing in WhatsApp
Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. On Android, tap the three dots in the top right → Linked Devices. On iOS, go to Settings → Linked Devices. If it still doesn't show, update WhatsApp from your app store.
